• Clear skies and perfect visibility. Winter is the city's dry season. The heavy afternoon clouds and the fog that often shrouds the top of Corcovado in summer become much rarer. It's the season for photos with Guanabara Bay, Pão de Açúcar and the beaches crisp in the background.
